Bulls captain Marcell Coetzee faces a URC disciplinary panel via video conference on Wednesday, October 28 after being cited for foul play during the Bulls' 34-26 win over Ulster.
Coetzee, who received a yellow card in the 45th minute for a dangerous cleanout on Ulster lock Ben Donnell — an incident that led directly to Dave McCann's try — has been cited under Law 9.20(a) and 9.20(b), covering dangerous play in a ruck or maul. The panel will be chaired by Ben Rutherford (Ireland) and also includes Declan Goodwin and Chris Morgan (Wales).
In a separate matter, Leinster prop Tadhg Furlong appears before a disciplinary panel on Thursday, October 29 following a citing complaint relating to an act of foul play against Munster's Gavin Coombes during the interprovincial derby. Furlong has been cited under Law 9.27 — conduct against the spirit of good sportsmanship, including grabbing, twisting or squeezing the genitals. His panel will be chaired by Simon Thomas (Wales), with Attie Heyns (South Africa) and Pamela Woodman (Scotland) completing the committee.
