The Bulls have made wholesale changes to their starting XV for Saturday's Champions Cup opening-round clash against Stade Français at Loftus Versfeld (14h00), with Handré Pollard returning at flyhalf, Elrigh Louw taking the captaincy and under-20 fullback Luan Giliomee handed his first senior start.
Giliomee's selection at No 15 is the headline pick, with Willie le Roux dropping to the bench. Pollard comes in for Curwin Bosch at flyhalf, while Paul de Wet retains the scrumhalf jersey.
The changes extend across the entire front row: Alu Tshakweni, Jan-Hendrik Wessels and Khutha Mchunu replace Gerhard Steenekamp, Johan Grobbelaar and Francois Klopper. Cobus Wiese joins JF van Heerden in the second row, with Ruan Vermaak dropping out of the 23 altogether.
