The Springboks will carry the names of 23 supporters on their match-day shorts when they face the Barbarians at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on June 20, in a joint initiative between SA Rugby and Betway Africa.

The Betway logo on the back of the shorts will be replaced by the names of 23 fans selected from entries submitted nationwide. Supporters enter at www.behindeverybok.co.za by generating a personalised preview of their name on the shorts and sharing it on social media using #BehindEveryBok. Entries close on June 11.

The 23 selected fans will join former Springbok captain Jean de Villiers — serving as Betway Squad campaign captain — for a match-week experience in Gqeberha.

"This initiative will give 23 fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get their names behind our Springboks," said Betway Africa head of sponsorship Jason Shield. SA Rugby chief executive Rian Oberholzer described it as "a really special moment" in Bok history.

The Barbarians match opens what SA Rugby acknowledges will be one of the team's busiest seasons, with back-to-back home Tests against England (July 4, Johannesburg), Scotland (July 11, Pretoria) and Wales (July 18, Durban) to follow, ahead of the Rugby Championship and a November tour of Europe.
