Zenay Jordaan has been confirmed as the new Bulls Daisies head coach, signing a contract that runs until 2029. The former Springbok Women stalwart — 36 Test caps to her name — steps up from within the franchise structures, having spent two seasons as assistant and co-head coach.
Jordaan is one of only two women's coaches in South African rugby to hold a World Rugby Level Three qualification. Her brief spans all phases of the game plan, training methodology and overarching strategy, with a mandate to build on the winning culture already embedded in the squad.
"My expectations are to align better with management, put proper cultural structures in place and establish a clear identity," Jordaan said. "A winning culture has already been created. I want to improve our planning and take it up a notch."
BBCo Executive for Strategic Projects and Women's Rugby Thando Manana framed the appointment as a statement of intent. "Zenay is not just a coach; she is a trailblazer who carries the DNA of South African women's rugby. We aren't just looking for results on the scoreboard; we are building a world-class high-performance culture."
Beyond the Bulls Daisies, Jordaan has contributed to women's rugby across all BBRU levels and has had involvement with both the Junior Springboks and the senior national squad.
