World Rugby has named the match official appointments for all eight fixtures on the Rugby's Greatest Rivalry tour between South Africa and New Zealand, which opens against the Stormers at DHL Stadium on Friday.
Four referees share the assignments across the tour. Matthew Carley (England) takes the first Test at Ellis Park on 22 August, Nika Amashukeli (Georgia) the second in Cape Town on 29 August, Angus Gardner (Australia) the third at FNB Stadium on 5 September, and Karl Dickson (England) the fourth in Baltimore on 12 September.
The provincial fixtures are divided similarly: Dickson opens the tour against the Stormers, Carley handles the Sharks at Kings Park, Amashukeli referees the Bulls at Loftus, and Gardner takes the Lions clash at Ellis Park on 25 August.
The panel is notable for the near-absence of Super Rugby Pacific referees — Gardner is the only one among the four Test appointments.
