The U.S. Consulate General in Johannesburg has formally welcomed the Springboks ahead of their September clash with the All Blacks in Baltimore, describing it as a landmark moment for the sport.
The embassy's social media post — 'History is coming to Baltimore!' — wished the world champions well ahead of the fourth and final Test of the 2026 Rugby's Greatest Rivalry series, scheduled for M&T Bank Stadium on September 12.
The fixture will be the first Springboks-All Blacks Test played on American soil. It will also be only the Springboks' third visit to the United States this century, following the match against the USA Eagles in Houston in 2001 and the Test against Wales in Washington D.C. in 2018.
