The Sharks have been dealt a double injury blow ahead of Tuesday's warm-up match against New Zealand at Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium, with Emile van Heerden and Vincent Tshituka both ruled out.
Van Heerden, who had been named to start, has been replaced in the second row by Deon Slabbert, who joined the Sharks from the Pumas in 2026. Slabbert will partner Hendre Stassen. Tshituka has suffered a concussion, with Corne Rahl coming in among the replacements.
Nick Hatton captains the revised side, with Ma'a Nonu named on the bench.
Kick-off at Kings Park is 19h00 local time, with Matthew Carley refereeing.
