The SA Under-18 'A' side secured their second successive win at the U18 International Series, defeating Georgia 20-0 at Boland Landbou on Tuesday after a much-improved second-half display rescued a scrappy opening period.

South Africa led just 5-0 at the break, with Drewyn Baron's unconverted try in the right-hand corner the only score of a first half disrupted by wind and a high rate of handling errors from both sides.

Several personnel changes at the interval shifted the momentum decisively. Replacement playmaker Jaydon Viljoen was the catalyst, landing a long-range penalty, converting after setting up Ruan Genis with an inch-perfect crossfield kick, and providing the composure in distribution that had been missing before the break. Bernhardt Schulze added the final try after the hooter, finishing from a free kick to close out the 20-0 scoreline.

Georgia competed hard throughout but could not adapt to the local conditions well enough to threaten the South African line. The result follows SA U18 'A''s one-point win over Ireland in the opening round on Friday.
