Siya Kolisi will earn his 119th Stormers cap when he starts at openside flank against Edinburgh at the Hive Stadium on Friday night — his first appearance for the Cape franchise in over five years.

Kolisi's inclusion is one of several changes from the side that faced Connacht, with Louw Nel shifting to blindside to accommodate him. Riley Norton comes into the second row and Ntuthuko Mchunu starts in the front row. Stefan Ungerer and Yaqeen Ahmed take over at halfback, while Wandile Mlaba is the new face on the replacements bench, covering the loose forwards.

Ruhan Nel captains the side, with Warrick Gelant at fullback and Seabelo Senatla and Leolin Zas on the wings.

John Dobson wants a sharper performance after last week's encouraging but imperfect showing against Connacht, with the Stormers looking to close out the tour on a winning note before returning to Cape Town for four consecutive home matches.

"We know that Edinburgh is a tough place to play," Dobson said. "It will take a big effort from all 23 players to get the result before we go back to Cape Town for what will be a crucial period in the context of our season."

Kick-off is at 20:45 SAST, with Eoghan Cross (IRFU) as referee.
