Cheslin Kolbe and Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu are both named in the Springbok starting XV for Saturday's second Rugby's Greatest Rivalry Series Test against the All Blacks at DHL Stadium, Cape Town (kick-off 17h10), following a late injury to Handré Pollard.
Pollard picked up a niggle at training on Wednesday and was assessed again on Friday morning before being withdrawn from the squad entirely. Feinberg-Mngomezulu, who started against Argentina and last week's opening Test in Johannesburg, slots back in at flyhalf, with Manie Libbok named on the bench as cover alongside scrumhalf Morne van den Berg.
Kolbe, who was forced off during the Johannesburg Test, has been cleared to start at 14, replacing Kurt-Lee Arendse, who drops out of the matchday 23 altogether.
The rest of the backline is unchanged, with Damian Willemse at fullback, Ethan Hooker on the left wing, Jesse Kriel and Damian de Allende in midfield, and Cobus Reinach at scrumhalf. The forward pack remains as originally selected, with Siya Kolisi captaining the side at blindside flanker alongside Pieter-Steph du Toit and Jasper Wiese, and Eben Etzebeth and Ruan Nortje in the engine room.
Feinberg-Mngomezulu carries 177 points from 22 caps into the match — the most of any back in the starting lineup — while de Allende brings up a significant milestone at 100 caps.
The match will be broadcast live on SuperSport.
