Grobbelaar signs long-term Bulls extension through to 2030

Johan Grobbelaar has signed a Bulls contract extension through to 2030, locking in one of the franchise's key forwards — and a Springbok squad regular — for the long term.

Johan Grobbelaar has committed his future to the Bulls, signing a contract extension that keeps him at Loftus Versfeld until 2030. The hooker, who made his senior debut for the franchise in 2017 and has since surpassed 100 appearances in blue, is one of the pillars of the Bulls' forward pack across both the URC and Champions Cup.

BBCo chief executive Edgar Rathbone welcomed the deal: "Johan embodies everything we stand for at the Vodacom Bulls. He is a warrior on the field, a natural leader in the environment, and a loyal servant to this union who has consistently delivered at the highest level year after year."
