Rassie Erasmus has called up Deon Fourie to the Springbok squad for the Rugby's Greatest Rivalry series against the All Blacks, with the 39-year-old joining the group in Johannesburg on Tuesday after returning from a lengthy injury layoff.
Fourie's last Test appearance was off the bench in the 2023 Rugby World Cup Final at the Stade de France, and he marked his return to top-level rugby by featuring for the Stormers in their RGR opener against New Zealand on Friday night.
The Springboks returned from Argentina in two groups on Sunday and Monday, with the final contingent due in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
The four-Test series kicks off at Ellis Park on 22 August, followed by DHL Stadium in Cape Town (29 August), FNB Stadium in Johannesburg (5 September), and M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore (12 September).
