Boks lead All Blacks 17-14 at half-time in Baltimore

The Springboks lead the All Blacks 17-14 at half-time in Baltimore, with tries to De Allende and Van den Berg and Feinberg-Mngomezulu's penalty giving South Africa the edge despite a Will Jordan try reducing the deficit late in the half.

South Africa hold a 17-14 half-time lead over New Zealand in the final match of Rugby's Greatest Rivalry, presented by Castle Double Malt, in Baltimore, played before a US record crowd of 68,173.

Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu opened the scoring with a third-minute penalty before Cody Taylor crossed to put the All Blacks 7-3 ahead after seven minutes. The Boks then seized control through tries to Damian de Allende in the 14th minute and Morne van den Berg in the 21st, both converted by Feinberg-Mngomezulu, to lead 17-7.

New Zealand worked their way back into the match through Will Jordan, who finished off a 32-phase sequence in the Springbok 22 in the final three minutes of the half to close the gap to three points.

The Boks were uncharacteristically error-prone throughout the opening 40 minutes and leave points on the board despite the lead, with the match played in hot and humid conditions.
