Western Province XV overturned a 14-0 deficit to beat the Golden Lions 43-33 on day four of the FNB U18 Craven Week at Grey High School in Gqeberha, maintaining their unbeaten record at the tournament.

The Lions controlled the early exchanges but WP XV clawed back before half-time and dominated the second half. Wing Thomas Saunders finished with a hat-trick while flyhalf Travis Pheiffer slotted five conversions to seal the victory.

The Blue Bulls were the day's biggest winners, hammering Griquas 59-19. Fullback Drewyn Baron scored twice and flyhalf Ruan Fluks converted seven of his team's nine tries.

The Pumas were equally emphatic against Border, running in eight tries in a 54-14 win. No 8 Vian Louw crossed twice and flyhalf Ewan van der Merwe contributed 15 points.

The Griffons beat the Valke 29-12, with wings Shovee de Villiers and Qlin Booyse each scoring twice in a five-try performance.

All 16 boys teams conclude the FNB U18 Craven Week on Saturday at Grey High, with the FNB U18 Girls Week final round taking place on Friday.
