Three matches across George, Welkom and Polokwane headline the second round of the Pick n Pay Women's Super League 2 on Saturday.

The standout fixture sees SWD Eagirls host the Leopards at Outeniqua Park (12h30), with one side's unbeaten record set to fall. Both franchises have been perennial finalists and semi-finalists in the competition, and the Leopards arrive in the Garden Route with momentum after a big Round 1 win over Limpopo and the return of their USSA student contingent. The Eagirls were below their best in the second half of their win over the Valke last weekend but retain the advantage of a strong home record at Outeniqua Park.

In Welkom (15h00), the Griffons open their campaign — they had a Round 1 bye — against defending champions the Hollywood Foundation Pumas Women. The Pumas were emphatic in their opening win over Griquas, with outside backs Jibrine Dube and Megan Guambe prominent, and coach Sibusiso Ngomane will look to replicate that performance on the road. Griffons captain and flanker Tshepiso Matelile, 28, will need to lead a disciplined defensive effort if the Welkom side are to contain that threat.

At the University of Limpopo in Polokwane (13h00), the Limpopo Blue Bulls and Valke meet with both sides still seeking a first win. The Blue Bulls are boosted by the return of their student players from the USSA tournament, but Valke coach Catherine Lowane can point to a 12-10 second-half advantage over SWD last week as evidence of her side's capacity to compete.

AVBOB Griquas Women have a bye this round.
