The Springboks have Italy firmly in their grip at the break in Turin, leading 45-0 after a devastating first-half display in their Nations Championship clash.
Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu opened proceedings with a penalty goal before adding a try and conversion to make it 10-0 inside eight minutes. The Boks then ran riot, with Morne van den Berg, Siya Kolisi, Damian Willemse and Malcolm Marx — who crossed twice from rolling mauls — completing the first-half haul. Feinberg-Mngomezulu converted all six tries to finish the half with 22 personal points.
