The Sharks have been reinforced by their returning Springboks in Cardiff ahead of Friday's URC Round Four match against Cardiff at Arms Park.
Eben Etzebeth, Ethan Hooker, André Esterhuizen, Ox Nché, Edwill van der Merwe and Thomas du Toit all sat out the start of the European tour, with the Sharks travelling without them for their Challenge Cup win over Lyon last weekend. The 40-33 victory in France set up back-to-back European fixtures, with a trip to Munster to follow the Cardiff match.
Etzebeth's availability remains uncertain as he manages a minor lower-limb concern, with no confirmation yet on whether he will feature against Cardiff or Munster. Vincent Tshituka, Jordan Hendrikse and Jaco Williams were part of the original 28-man touring group.
Forwards coach Warren Whiteley confirmed the Springboks have linked up with the squad and have completed one training session together, with another scheduled for Tuesday. "It is about getting everyone aligned with the plan," Whiteley said. "On tour it is an opportunity to connect and get to know each other better."
Whiteley said the coaching staff are carrying learnings from the Lyon win and are focused on continued improvement heading into the Cardiff fixture.
