The Springboks dismantled Wales 43-0 at Hollywoodbets Kings Park on Saturday, running in seven tries to maintain their perfect Nations Championship record and extend their winning streak to 11 consecutive Tests. A crowd of 40,299 witnessed a performance that, while occasionally stuttering, produced moments of genuine class and kept Wales scoreless for 160 minutes of rugby across the two sides' recent meetings.

The Boks held a 19-0 lead at the break despite not firing consistently, with handling errors costing them several opportunities during a prolonged spell of territorial dominance in the first half.

Jasper Wiese opened the scoring inside five minutes, crashing over from an angle for his fourth Test try after Cobus Wiese's powerful carry had Wales reeling. Debutant flyhalf Vusi Moyo slotted the conversion. The scrum continued to apply pressure and Cobus Reinach sniped around the corner shortly after for his 20th Test try, with Moyo converting to make it 14-0 after 14 minutes.

Wales largely contained the Boks for the next 25 minutes, their kicking game keeping South Africa honest, before Jesse Kriel scored on the stroke of halftime — his third try in as many Tests this month — running onto a Moyo cross-kick to send the Boks in 19-0 ahead.

The second half opened with the bonus point try. Debutant wing Jaco Williams, schooled at nearby Glenwood Boys High, ran onto a Cobus Wiese offload to score in the right-hand corner, and Moyo's conversion stretched the lead to 26-0.

Rassie Erasmus made multiple replacements from the bench after 47 minutes, including introducing Manie Libbok for Moyo. Wales came agonisingly close when wing Ellis Mee lost the ball over the line, but Paul de Villiers' relentless work at the breakdown — forcing a crucial turnover penalty among his many disruptions — kept the Welsh scoreboard blank.

Herschel Jantjies, now based at Bayonne and making his 25th Test cap after a three-year wait, added the next try with Williams instrumental in the build-up, bursting and passing inside for the finish. Wales replacement prop Ben Warren was sent to the bunker for a high tackle on Marco van Staden in the lead-up to that score.

With Wales reduced to 14 and under the pump, the Boks opted for a lineout drive from a penalty and Libbok floated a pass to Kurt-Lee Arendse, who scored in the corner to make it 36-0. The final scoreline of 43-0 reflected the Boks' control throughout, with all four debutants — including Moyo and Williams — justifying their selections.
