Ireland will be without Garry Ringrose for their November Nations Championship Tests against Argentina, Fiji and the Springboks after the Leinster centre sustained a hamstring injury. The IRFU confirmed on Tuesday that Ringrose, who has 76 caps, is unlikely to feature and will continue his rehabilitation at province level.

Utility back Jimmy O'Brien is also a concern after suffering a concussion over the weekend, with the IRFU targeting a return to full training for him later this week. Flyhalf Sam Prendergast, nursing a wrist injury, is progressing well and continues his rehabilitation with the national squad.

Andy Farrell has not called up replacements for any of the three players.
