The Hollywood Foundation Pumas Women and Leopards Women both backed up their round-one victories with away wins in round two of the Pick n Pay Women's Super League 2 on Saturday, while the Valke survived a dramatic finish to claim their first win of the season.

The defending champion Pumas were ruthless against the Griffons in Welkom, running in 11 tries in a 65-13 victory at the Down Touch Investments Stadium. The Griffons, playing their first match after a round-one bye, were already trailing 36-6 at the break. Sasa Mkhabela finished with 20 points, scoring two tries and landing five conversions.

The Leopards secured a 26-17 win over SWD at Outeniqua Park in George, built on a fast start that saw them cross twice in the opening 10 minutes and lead 19-7 at half-time. SWD showed more fight after the break but a Leopards fourth try on 50 minutes effectively ended the contest. Olwethu Nkotswana crossed twice for the visitors, with Amzolele Gqola converting three.

The most dramatic finish of the round came at the University of Limpopo Stadium, where the Valke edged Limpopo Blue Bulls 37-36. Limpopo led 29-12 shortly after the restart before the Valke ran in five unanswered tries to lead 37-31. Limpopo scored again to set up a final-kick finish, but fullback Nelly Semenya's conversion attempt drifted wide, handing the Valke the win. Noluyanda Mtshweni scored twice for the Valke, who crossed seven times in total.
