The Pick n Pay Women's Super League 2 semi-final line-up is set after a dramatic final round of fixtures on Saturday, with the Hollywood Foundation Pumas Women hosting the Griffons Women and AVBOB Griquas entertaining SWD Eagirls next weekend.

The Pumas, who had a bye in the final round, go into the play-offs undefeated and top the log on 30 points. Griquas finished second on 26, SWD third on 17 and the Griffons fourth on 14.

The big story of the round was the Leopards' elimination. Last year's runners-up needed results to go their way but were hammered 60-10 by the Valke at Barnard Stadium in Kempton Park — a stunning reversal from the corresponding fixture last season, when Leopards won 105-5 in Potchefstroom. The result drops the Leopards to sixth on the log.

Valke were ruthless from the outset, racing to a 21-0 lead inside 10 minutes through tries to Moleboheng Miyo, Megan Mboweni and Evidence Tinoota. Nineteen-year-old Leopards wing Kiarra Langeveldt twice gave her side brief hope, scoring both their tries, but Valke centre Noluyanda Mtshweni finished with four tries — including one on the final buzzer — as the hosts ran in ten tries in total.

In Welkom, Griquas were dominant in the second half to overcome the Griffons 43-17 at the Down Touch Investments Stadium. Maserati Bangaza was the standout, scoring a hat-trick, while Juanine Jacobs crossed twice and also added a conversion. Griquas led 19-10 at the break and pulled clear with two additional tries in the final 20 minutes.

SWD produced their most complete performance of the season in George, running in ten tries to beat Limpopo Blue Bulls 60-12 at Outeniqua Park. Wing Chante Jonck claimed a hat-trick from sweeping backline movements, with seven different players getting on the scoresheet as the Eagirls built momentum heading into their Kimberley semi-final.
