Rassie Erasmus has confirmed that Siya Kolisi injured his other hamstring during South Africa's 17-10 win over Argentina in Buenos Aires, but the coach indicated the latest setback does not appear serious.

Kolisi had been carefully managed into the match following an earlier hamstring problem and was on the field for 24 minutes before going off. Erasmus was complimentary about the impact he made in that time. "I thought Siya was really dynamic with his carries and his clean outs," the coach said at the post-match press conference. "He injured his hamstring, the other hamstring, but it doesn't look too bad."

Andre Esterhuizen was also forced off, leaving the field in the 65th minute for an HIA. The midfielder had only just recovered from a fractured cheekbone sustained against England at Ellis Park — an injury initially feared to be concussion before blood from his ear pointed to the fracture — which had threatened his availability for the Argentina match.
