Siya Kolisi and Ox Nche remain doubtful for Saturday's Rugby Championship opener against the All Blacks at Ellis Park, though Rassie Erasmus indicated Monday's training session could be decisive for both.
"The only two doubtful players — Siya and Ox — I wouldn't say they're injured still; I think it's niggles," Erasmus said at a press conference in Johannesburg. "If they get through today, it probably might be good for us."
Kolisi has been managing a hamstring problem that ruled him out of the first three Nations Championship Tests against England, Scotland and Wales. He aggravated it when leaving the field early during the one-off Test against Argentina in Buenos Aires earlier this month. Nche has been sidelined since sustaining a knee injury against England over a month ago.
Erasmus added that lock Franco Mostert is "looking good".
