The FNB U16 Grant Khomo Week and FNB U16 Girls Week get underway at Kearsney College in Botha's Hill, KwaZulu-Natal, in a format change that sees both U16 tournaments consolidated at a single venue for the first time.
The Grant Khomo Week runs from 29 June to 3 July across 22 teams and three match days, with the opening fixture on Monday morning seeing the Blue Bulls XV take on Kenya at 08h30. The Blue Bulls and Sharks — who each went three from three at the 2025 tournament — both feature later on day one, against Eastern Province and the Golden Lions respectively.
The Girls Week follows on alternate days from 30 June to 4 July. Tuesday's opening day includes Western Province against hosts KwaZulu-Natal, before an Opening Ceremony at 13h30 leads into a top-of-the-table clash between the Golden Lions and the Blue Bulls, the two sides that finished the 2025 competition unbeaten.
Attention then shifts to Grey High School in Gqeberha, where the FNB U18 Craven Week and FNB U18 Girls Week are scheduled for 6 to 11 July.
