Vainah Ubisi is a South African international lock from Moletjie, Limpopo, who plays her club rugby for the Bulls Daisies. She made her international debut in 2023 after coming through the Junior Women’s setup and has established herself as a powerful presence in the second row. She had a standout 2024 season, including being named Player of the Match in the Women’s Premier Division final, and earned recognition as one of South Africa’s emerging forwards. Her game is built around physical ball carrying, strong defence and lineout ability, earning her the nickname “Queen of the Skies.” Her progress was interrupted by knee surgery, but she fought her way back into the national setup in 2025 and was selected for the 2025 Rugby World Cup squad. First National Bank (FNB) is the principal partner and main front-of-jersey sponsor for all of South Africa's national rugby teams, including the Springboks, Springbok Women, Sevens, and youth sides.
