France hit by triple injury blow ahead of Springbok clash

France have replaced injured trio Brau-Boirie, Gazzotti and Hastoy with Depoortere, Jelonch and uncapped Louis Le Brun ahead of their Nations Championship campaign, which includes a home clash against the Springboks on November 13.

France have been forced into three changes to their Nations Championship squad after Fabien Brau-Boirie (knee), Marko Gazzotti (hamstring) and Antoine Hastoy (ankle) all suffered injuries in Top 14 action over the weekend.

The French federation confirmed the replacements on Monday: Nicolas Depoortere, Anthony Jelonch and uncapped loosehead prop Louis Le Brun come into the squad.

France open their Nations Championship campaign against Fiji in Lyon on November 7, host South Africa six days later, and conclude against Argentina on November 21, with both remaining matches at the Stade de France.
