The Sharks have confirmed the injuries sustained by four players during their 36–21 bonus-point win over Cardiff on Friday, with three of them — Andre Esterhuizen, Phatu Ganyane and Jurenzo Julius — returning to South Africa for further assessment.
Esterhuizen suffered a right ankle injury, Ganyane a right elbow injury and Julius a right hamstring injury. All three will undergo scans and consult specialists to determine the severity of their respective injuries.
To cover the losses, the Sharks called up Cameron Dawson, Litelihle Bester and Suleiman Hartzenberg, who joined the touring squad on Sunday.
John Dobson's side faces Munster in their final tour fixture on Saturday before the November Nations Cup window.
