Sale Sharks director of rugby Alex Sanderson has expressed serious concern that Rob du Preez may have played his last game for the club this season after sustaining a significant hamstring injury during Saturday's 52-33 victory over Harlequins at Twickenham Stoop.
Sanderson was blunt in his assessment, saying he "can't see it healing in time" for du Preez to feature again before the season concludes.
