World Rugby has confirmed the match official appointments for the Springboks' three Nations Championship Northern Series Tests in Europe in November.
Ireland's Eoghan Cross takes charge of the tour opener against Italy at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on 7 November, with James Doleman and Sam Grove-White as his assistants and Brett Cronan as TMO.
Andrea Piardi of Italy referees the Stade de France clash against France on 13 November, with Christophe Ridley — who goes on to referee the third Test — serving as his first assistant referee. Gianluca Gnecchi is the second AR, Matteo Liperini the TMO and Andrew Jackson the foul play review officer.
Ridley then takes the whistle for the Ireland Test at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on 21 November, with Angus Gardner and Anthony Woodthorpe as assistants, Ian Tempest as TMO and Tual Trainini as FPRO.
On the South African officials front, Morne Ferreira picks up two assistant referee appointments — Argentina's Tests against Ireland in Dublin on 6 November and against Italy in Genoa the following weekend. Marius van der Westhuizen is named TMO for England's home matches against Japan and New Zealand, and serves as foul play review officer when Scotland host the All Blacks in Edinburgh.
Appointments for the Nations Championship Finals Weekend in London (27–29 November) are still to be confirmed.
